Good Neighbour Scheme

A 'Good Neighbour Scheme' to provide DIY and shopping services which help to keep people independent in their own homes.

Community Shop

The setting up and running of a Community shop at Froyle Park, which complements rather than competes with stores in neighbouring parishes.

New Resident Pack

Development of an information pack to help new residents when they move into the village. The pack may be of interest to current residents too.

New Village Social Events

Running of additional village events (e.g. film evenings) in line with Parish Plan requests if volunteers come forward to help with these. (www.froylevillagehall.co.uk)

Outdoor Gym Equipment

Sourcing equipment & funding to provide a range of outdoor gym equipment around the recreation ground, suitable for all ages.

Play Area (Ongoing Activity)

Ongoing upgrades and maintenance work by the Parish Council (PC) to provide a safe and well-maintained play area suitable for children of all ages.

Youth Tennis

Establishing and running a youth tennis group, fund-raising as necessary, and exploring availability of village-based courts for supervised use.

The Pantomime

To 'bring back the panto' - a fun event for all ages! Additional cast members and behind the scenes helpers most welcome.

Vestment Conservation

Vestment conservation is an ongoing activity included in the PP implementation plan following a generous contribution from NJG. (www.froylevestmentsgroup.org.uk)

Projects "Waiting in the Wings"

The following projects are still "waiting in the wings" - are you interested in running or being involved with any of the following:

  • Setting up, offering facilities or running additional youth activities, for example:
– Access to a swimming pool
– Access to a fishing pond
– Running Froyle 'Spring Watch' type events
– Courses on how to set up and run your own business and first aid
– Off road (pre-test) driving instruction
– Re-establishing the Youth Club
  • Organising community days - Churchyard clearance / snow clearance.
  • Providing residents with a way of sharing their experiences of care-related services.
  • Establishing our own care services e.g. 'Froyle meals on wheels'.
  • Finding funding for a defibrillator in the village hall plus training.
